Case in point – my school work. I’ll dread the assignment, wish it was over, feel all yucky inside about it. Then I think, you idiot, you’ve been wanting to do this for years. You enjoy doing this kind of work. What’s wrong with you?
I realize Satan has managed to make me not enjoy something I really do like doing. How lame is that. Yet most of us do it; some more than others. It’s crazy, but he’s crafty. He will make you fear a new adventure or endeavor to keep you from doing it. It gives a whole new depth of meaning to John 10:10 bringing it down to everyday life.
The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.
