Bible Study Conversation – Expensive Worship
Mark 14:6 – This was an act of worship, but “the religious” disapproved; they felt her worship was too costly. Still today church members will murmur and complain about someone else’s worship. Maybe it isn’t costly in a monetary way but in an image or reputation way. Responding to Jesus in worship can take on many looks. We should not object to someone pouring out themselves publicly if that is how the Spirit leads them.
