What Would Jesus Look Like
How do you typically picture God or Jesus? I suppose most of us usually visualize Jesus based on paintings or movie portrayals we’ve seen of him, some of which are probably pretty accurate, some not so much. In my meditations this morning I was attempting to “see” him, and I wondered what he would look like if he lived in today’s generation.
Since it’s biblical we will keep him Jewish, so that means dark skin, hair, eyes. But what about the rest of his appearance? Short or long hair? Beard or not? Well groomed? Jeans or suit or somewhere in between? What do you think he would look like today? And does it matter?
