Gullible or Lazy
Another reason people believe anything is that they don’t want to take/make the time to study for themselves. They prefer to be spoon-fed and told by someone else what to believe or stand for.
Paul begins his letter to the Galatians by describing his “training” in the faith. He spent about three years just him and God learning the Truth. The importance of our quiet time is much more than telling God what we “need.” It is letting Him teach us what we NEED.
