God’s Patience With Evil
Many times I’ve wondered why God allows some people to keep on living or doing the things they do. Why does He allow politicians to win office only to blunder and break the law repeatedly? Why do the evil seem to get rich and succeed while the godly faithful struggle to make ends meet?
Obviously there isn’t one, simple answer to those questions, but Peter does pretty well sum it up in verses 14 and 15 of 2 Peter 3. Instead of envy, bitterness, and otherwise questioning, just be thankful for God’s patience.
