Chevy’s latest Silverado commercial features an intriguing concept we can all learn from.
Live life for a living. At first I didn’t really understand what Chevy meant by that, but then I realized, hey that’s what I do – live life. Now I doubt my interpretation is exactly what Chevy had in mind, but here’s what it said to me.
Too often we go through life dreading the anticipated events of the day, wishing for something better, waiting for our dreams to come true and our problems to go away. All while we miss out on the true meaning and intent of the day. Life isn’t about us getting what we want or even just being comfortable. It’s much bigger than that.
More and more I recognize how blessed I am right now, how much I’m enjoying this time. Next time someone asks me what I do, as in a job, my response will be, “I live life”. Find something to enjoy about every day and live it!
