A Much Overlooked Reason For Praise
Romans 11 explains why we have the opportunity (are allowed) to be saved. Paul ends the chapter with praise and exultation to God. Praise we often miss out on because it stems from truths we often take for granted. That we (each and every individual) were born under circumstances allowing us to become one of God’s chosen. What if the Jewish nation hadn’t been disobedient (v11)? What if God hadn’t chosen to extend His mercy to us (v17)? Paul also indicates in verse 14 that we should be living in a way that makes the Jews jealous of our privilege. How’s that working out for you?
